Crystal Paradise Resort is located in the charming Maya village of Cristo Rey, just 75 miles (a 2-hour drive) from Belize International Airport and only 3 miles (a 15-minute drive) from San Ignacio Town. Whether you prefer a private shuttle, a quick flight, or a rental vehicle, we make reaching our resort easy and stress-free.

Private Shuttle Service

For a hassle-free transfer, we offer a private shuttle service for USD 149 (1 to 3 persons). Let us know at least 24 hours before your arrival, and our experienced guide/driver will meet you at the Belize International Airport. Enjoy a comfortable ride in an air-conditioned vehicle while learning about Belize’s rich history and culture. Upon arrival at Crystal Paradise Resort, a friendly member of our family will greet you, provide a brief orientation, and escort you to your cabana. Welcome home!

Free pickup in San Ignacio is available for guests arriving in town by bus or other means.

Short Flight + Quick Transfer

For a faster option, take a short domestic flight with Tropic Air from Belize International Airport to Maya Flats Airstrip in San Ignacio. The flight takes approximately 30 minutes, and our driver will be waiting at the airstrip to transfer you to Crystal Paradise Resort—just 25 minutes away. Let us know in advance, and we’ll handle the arrangements for you.

Renting a Vehicle

If you prefer to drive yourself, there are several rental companies to choose from, including Cayo Rentals, Crystal Auto Rental, and Avis Auto Rental. We recommend a 4×4 vehicle or one with good ground clearance due to uneven road conditions in some areas.

Driving Directions:

1. Upon leaving Belize International Airport, turn left onto the Philip Goldson Highway.
2. Drive for about 10 minutes until you reach a cutoff with a sign for Burrell Boom. Turn left.
3. Continue until you meet the Western Highway (George Price Highway) and turn right, heading toward Belmopan.
4. Follow the highway to Santa Elena, where you’ll see signs for Caracol and Mountain Pine Ridge.
5. Turn left at the bus stop and the Crystal Paradise Resort sign.
6. Drive through Cristo Rey Village and continue for a few minutes until you reach the resort on the right.
