A Rich Family Legacy
The Tut family, originally farmers, transitioned into hospitality in 1986 when an inquiry about lodging inspired them to create a unique, family-style resort. With a background in traditional construction, Victor Tut built the first cabanas, and in 1992, the resort was officially named Crystal Paradise, reflecting its beauty and tranquility.
Today, the Tut family continues to run the resort with passion and dedication. The sons, who are experienced birders and nature guides, maintain the grounds and operate Paradise Expeditions, offering guided tours such as hiking, cave tubing, horseback riding, kayaking, and birdwatching. The daughters and extended family members ensure that the guest rooms are clean and comfortable while preparing delicious traditional and international cuisine.

The resort provides jobs for residents of Cristo Rey Village and actively assists the Cristo Rey Roman Catholic School, which educates around 160 students.
